Don't know why, but this song reminds me of the Taliban. I think it's because they are still there, coming out of caves 'out of the darkness and into the light', let's face it Afghanistan is not called the 'graveyard of empires' for no reason. "Bad guys wear black", I mean if I was an alien, unaware of when the song was written, I'd think they were talking about some terrorists or something, not some guys coming out from a western subculture ready to set some new musical trends. 'Pillage the village' sounds like some kind of reference to ugly stuff going on wherever there is war. Could have been 'Nam, the Balkans etc... but right now it could be anywhere in the Middle-East or the duckin Congo. Most likely, they were writing a song after after watching a lot of spaghetti westerns, while reflecting on themselves going out and dominating the metal scene, but the fact that references can cross cultures, and take on whole new meanings entirely randomly is ducking weird. The world is such a serious and shitty place now, (yeah, it was before... but now it is shittier), especially since this song was written, it saddens me in so many ways. There is some strange stuff in the cosmos, too many coincidences. btw peace everyone, didn't mean no offence. ☮️
